A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO

H. W. MINOR RESIDt~CE, ~ AT 10304 19TH STREET, AS
A IDCAL HISTORIC POINT OF INTERt~T, AND MAKING FINDINGS
IN SUPPOR~ %~HER~OF - APN: 1076-141-01.
WHEREAS, Hix Development has filed an application for Point of
Interest Designation 92-01, as described in the title of this Resolution.
Hereinafter in this Resolution, the subject Point of Interest Designation is
referred to as the "application".
WHEREAS, on December 8, 1992, the Historic Preservation Co~,dssion
of the City of Rancho Cucamonga conducted adulynoticedpublichearingonthe
application and, following the conclusion of said public hearing, adopted
R~solution No. 92-05, thereby recommending to this City Council that said
applicationbe approved.
WHEREAS, on January 6, 1993, the City Council of the City of RancRho
Cucamonga conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the application and
concluded said hearing on that date.
WHEREAS, all legal prerequisites prior to the adoption of this
Resolutionhave occurred.
NOW, R/~EREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
does hereby find, determine, and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: The application applies to property located at Assessor
ParcelNumber 1076-141-01.
S~CTION 2: The application applies to approximately .74 acres of
land, basically a rectangular configuration located at 10304 19th Street, at
the northeast corner of 19th Street and Mayberry Avenue.
SILTION 3: The proposed Point of Interest meets the following
criteria estm_blished in Chapter 2.24.090 of the Rancho Cucamonga Municipal
Code:
A. Historical and Cultural Significance:
1. The proposed Point of Interest is particularly
representative of an historical period, type, style, region, or
way of life.
2. The proposed Point of Interest was connected with someone
renowned, important, or a local personality.

B. Neighborhood and Geographic Setting:
1. The proposed Point of Interest, in its location,
represents an established and familiar visual feature of the
neighborhood, cu~=~,unity, and city (Ord. 70 Section 9, 1979).
S~fION 4: Designation of a Point of Interest is exempt from C~QA
(Article 19, Section 15308).
S~CTION 5: Based upon the substantial evidence received and
reviewed by this Council and based on the findings set forth above,
BE IT ~ RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga approves the designation of the H. W. Minor residence as an Historic
Point of Interest.
