The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Vice President Diane Williams. Present were Boardmembers: Rex Gutierrez, Robed J. Howdyshell, Donald J. Kurth, M.D., and Vice President Diane Williams. Absent was Boardmember: President William J. Alexander Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; Pamela Easter, Deputy City Manager; James Markman, City Attorney; Larry Temple, Administrative Services Director; and George Rivera, Administrative Services Manager. FD 04-003 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ACTING AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1, ADOPTING A BOUNDARY MAP SHOWING PROPERTY TO BE ANNEXED TO COMMUNITY FAClLtTIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 D7. Approval to adopt a Resolution of Intention to Annex Territory referred to as Annexation No. 04-1 (Parcel 0227-211-27) into Community Facilities District No. 85-1, specifying facilities and services provided, to set and specify the special taxes to be levied within the annexation and set a time and place for a public hearing related to the annexation. RESOLUTION NO. FD 04-004 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ACTING AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO AUTHORIZE THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 D8. Approval of a Letter of Understanding between the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF) (CO FD 04-002) and the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District establishing an agreement between the two agencies for the purpose of utilizing CDF Conservation Camp crews to perform various work projects within the City and Fire District boundaries. MOTION: Moved by Howdyshell seconded by Kurth to approve the staff recommendations in the staff reports contained within the Consent Calendar. Motion carried unanimously 4-0-1 (Alexander absent).
