CALL TO ORDER The Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District held a closed session on Wednesday, July 2, 2003, in the Tapia Room of the Civic Center located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by President William J. Alexander. Present were Boardmembers: Rex Gutierrez, Robert J. Howdyshell, Donald J. Kurth, M.D., Diane Williams and President William J. Alexander. Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; James Markman, City Attorney; Pamela Easter, Deputy City Manager; Larry Temple, Administrative Services Director; and George Rivera, Administrative Services Manager. B. ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED SESSION ITEM(S) President Alexander announced the closed session item. B1. CALL TO ORDER A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District was held on Wednesday, July 2, 2003, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. President William J. Alexander called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. Present were Boardmembers: Rex Gutierrez, Robert J. Howdyshell, Donald J. Kurth, M.D., Diane Williams and President William J. Approval of a Resolution to temporarily change the place for Fire Protection District Board Meetings. RESOLUTION NO. FD 89-001C A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THE DAYS, PLACE AND TIME FOR HOLDING REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS D3. Approval of a Resolution authorizing the destruction of Fire District records pursuant to California Government Code Section 34090, the District's Records Retention Schedule, and other applicable legal citations. RESOLUTION NO. FD 03-023 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CITY RECORDS WHICH ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED AS SET FORTH IN CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 34090 AND OTHER APPLICABLE LEGAL REFERENCES MOTION: Moved by Howdyshell, seconded by Gutierrez to approve the staff recommendations in the staff reports contained within the Consent Calendar, including the added item. Motion carried unanimously 5-0. II E. IDENTIFICATION OF ITEMS FOR THE NEXT MEETING I No items were identified for the next meeting. II F.
