CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT CLOSED SESSION MINUTES
The Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District held a closed session on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, in
the Tapia Room of the Civic Center located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California.
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by President William J. Alexander.
Present were Boardmembers: Rex Gutierrez, Robert J. Howdyshell, Donald J. Kurth, M.D., Diane
Williams and President William J. Alexander.
Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; Pamela Easter, Deputy City Manager; James Markman,
City Attorney; Larry Temple, Administrative Services Director; and George Rivera, Administrative
Services Manager.

President Alexander announced the closed session item.

II ^. CALL TO ORDER I
A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District was held on Wednesday, April 7,
2004, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho
Cucamonga, California. President William J. Alexander called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m.
Present were Boardmembers: Rex Gutierrez, Robert J. Howdyshell, Donald J. Kurth, M.D., Diane
Williams and President William J. Alexander.

City Attorney; Mike Nelson, Sr. Redevelopment Agency Analyst; James C. Frost, City Treasurer; Larry

Building Official; Kevin McArdle, Community Services Director; Paula Pachon, Management Analyst III;

II D. CONSENT CALENDAR II
D1. Approval of Minutes: March 8, 2004

D2. Approval to authorize a "YES" vote for each district-owned parcel for the Mosquito Control and
Disease Prevention Measure by the West Valley Mosquito and Control District.
MOTION: Moved by Gutierrez, seconded by Howdyshell to approve the recommendations in the staff
reports contained within the Consent Calendar. Motion carried unanimously 5-0.

MOTION: Moved by Williams seconded by Kurth to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously 5-0. The
