HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-620 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 87-620 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCliO CUCAMONGA. COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINOs STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE NON-VEHIOJLAR ACCESS RIGHTS OF A PORTION OF HAVEN AVENUE, SOUTH OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows: SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under Section 8300. et. seq., of the Streets and Highways Code. also known as the Street Vacation Act of 1941. SECTION 2: That the City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate a portion of the non-vehicular Access Rights of a portion of Haven Avenue. a City street, as shown on Map No. V-074 on file in the Office of the City Clerk. a legal description of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof. SECTION 3: That the City Council hereby fixes Wednesday, the 16th day of December, 1987, at 7:30 p.m.. in the Lions Park Community Canter Building. located at 9161 Base Line, Rancho Cucemonga, California, as the time and place for hearing all persons objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION 4: That the City Street Superintendent shall cause notices to be posted conspicuously along the line of the street or part thereof proposed to be vacated at least 10 days before the hearing. not more than 30 feet apart and not less than three signs shall be posted, each of which shall have a copy of this resolution on them and shall have the following title in lettering not less than one inch in heightI "NOTICE OF HEARING TO VACATE STREET". SECTION 5: The subject vacation shall be subject to the reservations and exceptions, if any, for existing utilities on record. SECTION 6: The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest to the sames and the City Clerk shall cause same to be published 10 days before the date set for the hearing, at least once in The Daily Reports a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucemongas Californla.
