A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, COMMENDING DEBORAH N. BROWN FOR
HER SERVICES AS A MEMBER OF THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Deborah N. Brown was elected to the City Council in
November, 1986; and
WHEREAS, City Councilmember Deborah N. Brown was elected by her
colleagues to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore from December, 1988 to December,
1990; and
WHEREAS, during her tenure as a member of the Rancho Cucamonga City
Council, Deborah N. Brown was instrumental in creating the Environmental
Management Commission, promoting regional cooperation through her efforts as
the City's representative to SANBAG, and supporting the establishment of rail
transit in our area all of which will have a lasting impact on the quality of
life for Rancho Cucamonga and its residents; and
WHEREAS, as a member of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council, Deborah N.
brown was instrumental in improving the economic and social well being of the
community as well as continually providing her colleagues and the citizens of
Rancho Cucamonga with outstanding leadership, dedication and competence.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve, on behalf of its citizens, to con~nend Deborah N. Brown for her
outstanding leadership while serving as a member of the City Council and
extends best wishes for continued success in her future endeavors.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 3rd day of December, 1990.

I, DEBRA J. ADAMS, CITY CLERK of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly passed,
approved, and adopted by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,

December, 1990.
