Home My WebLink About91-313 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 91-313 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CU~GA, CAT.TFORNTA, ADOi~ING A PARKING ~FO~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has hereto- fore decided to process parking citations issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department within the city's corporate limits; and WHEREAS, recent State legislation, specifically SB 21, AB 544 and AB 1297, the Om/nty has been authorized to collect $5.00 for every parking violation in which we collect; and WHEREAS, the $5.00 which is to be collected by the County is split $2.50 for temporary courthouse construction and $2.50 for criminal justice facilities construction; and WHEREAS, the above-referenced State legislation authorizes the cities to increm__~e the bail schedule for parking violations to cover the State WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga will be liable for this $5.00 charge with our parking enforcement bail schedule is increased or not. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby resolve as follows: S~TION 1: The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby adopts as its bail schedule, the bail schedule attached hereto as Exhibit "A" together with each bail amount set forth therein. SECTION 2: The bail schedule set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto may be modified from time to time by resolution of the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
