A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCA~, CALIFORNIA, SUMMARILY ORDERING THE VACATION OF
W}{EREAS, by Chapter 4, Article 1, Section 8330, of the Streets and
Highway Code, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is authorized
to sunm~nrily vacate a portion of the City Street hereinafter more particularly
described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council found all the evidence sutanitted that Reid
Avenue is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes
because the said street has not been used for the purpose for which it was
dedicated or adquired for five consecutive years.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
hereby makes its order vacating that portion of street as shown on Map V-066,
on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, which
ban been further described in a legal description which is attached hereto,
marked Exhibit "A", and by reference made a part thereof.
SECTION 2: That the subject vacation shall be subject to the
reservations for sanitary sewer purposes as described in attached Exhibit "A".
SECTION 3: That from and after the date the resolution is recorded,
said portion of the City street no longer constitutes a street or public
easement.
S~CTION 4: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San
Bernardino County, California.
SECTION 5: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in
force o
