A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT,
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING FEES TO
PROVIDE FIRE DISTRICT MAINTENANCE FACILITY SERVICES
TO OTHER FIRE AGENCIES AND FIRE EQUIPMENT
MANUFACTURERS
A. RECITALS.
(i) The California Government Code requires that prior to levying a new fee
or increasing an existing fee or service charge, as hereinafter set forth,the
local agency shall hold a noticed public hearing to consider matter.
(ii) On October 19, 2005, the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District
conducted and concluded a duly noticed public hearing concerning the
proposed fees and service charges, as required by law.
(iii) All legal prerequisites to adoption of this Resolution have occurred.
B. RESOLUTION.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District hereby finds and resolves as follows:
1. The facts set forth in the Recitals, Part A of this Resolution,are true and correct.
2. The Board of Directors hereby approves and adopts the following fee schedule:
FIRE DISTRICT MAINTENANCE FACILITY SERVICES FEES
a. Dynamometer Test. Includes road wheel weight,
horsepower/torque rating, and speedometer accuracy test.
$160.00 per hour per, with a 1/2-hour minimum charge.
b. Road Wheel Weight Service. Up to six (6) wheel positions
weighted at each position and total weight. Printout included.
$16000 per hour per,with a 1/2-hour minimum charge.
c. Pump Testing. Verify volume and pressure of water delivery
system on fire pumper trucks.
$115.00 per hour per, with a 3-hour minimum charge. 1-
hour minimum charge, should test abort prior to
completion.

d. Steam Cleaning. Heavy-duty, high-pressure cleaning of engine
and chassis with biodegradable steam cleaning solution.
$115.00 per hour per, with a 2-hour minimum charge.
e. Smoke Opacity Testing. Certified opacity test for annual engine
emissions. Printout included.
$115.00 per hour per,with a 1/2-hour minimum charge.
f. Pump Test Pit Use Only. Use of pump test pit by outside
agencies or vendors by their employees or designates.
$5000 per hour per, with a 1-hour minimum charge.
g. Decontamination of Test Pit.
$250.00
h. Materials. Any and all materials used (i.e. defoamer, chemicals,
etc.)will be billed at replacement cost. Cost of water to flush pit to
be billed at cubic foot rate.
3. None of the fees set forth in Section 2, above, exceed the actual
costs to the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District in
providing the service or facility to which each such fee applies.
4. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
