A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT,
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, CALLING A NEW
SPECIAL ELECTION DATE (ANNEXATION NO. 06-4) TO
SUBMIT TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF TERRITORY
PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED TO CFD 85-1, A PROPOSITION
TO AUTHORIZE THE LEVY OF SPECIAL TAXES THEREIN
WHEREAS, the BOARD OF DIRECTORS (the `Board of Directors") of the RANCHO
CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT (the "Fire Protection District'),
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, has previously held a public hearing and
set a special election date relating to the annexation of territory to COMMUNITY
FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 (the "District'); and,
WHEREAS, a special election was held on May 24, 2006 and the ballot was distributed to the
qualified electors and completed and returned; and,
WHEREAS, upon canvas by the Board Secretary, it was determined that the landowner cast a no
vote, thereby voting against the levy of special tax; and
WHEREAS, when notified, the landowner indicated that such no vote was cast inadvertently and
requested the opportunity to vote again.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection
District does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: RECITALS
A. The above recitals are all true and correct.
B. the original election was called by the adoption of Resolution No.
FD 06-020;
C. the election was held on May 24, 2006;
D. the qualified elector cast a ballot on which the elector
inadvertently voted against the levy of the special tax within the
territory to be annexed;
E. the qualified voter has requested that the Board set a new
election date and have waived all time limits for conducting such
election.
SECTION 2: ELECTION
A. Anew special election is called within the territory to be annexed
to be held on the 28`h day of June 2006.
B. All other provisions of Resolution No. FD 06-020 shall remain
in full force and effect.

Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District, at a Regular
Meeting of said Board held on the 218t day of June, 2006.
