CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
The City Council held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 in Council Chambers at City Hall, 10500 Civic
Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. Mayor L. Dennis Michael called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.
CALL TO ORDER
Present were Council Members Kristine Scott, Ashley Stickler and Mayor Michael. Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Lynne Kennedy
and Council Member Ryan Hutchison.
Also present were: Elisa C. Cox, City Manager, Mike McCliman, Assistant City Manager/Fire Chief; Peter Castro, Deputy
City Manager; Jennifer Gracia, Deputy City Manager; Julie A. Sowles, Deputy City Manager and Patricia Bravo -Valdez,
Deputy Director of City Clerk Services.
Council Member Stickler led the Pledge of Allegiance.
A. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
No public communications.
B. ITEMS OF DISCUSSION
B1. Recognition of Rancho Cucamonga Fall/Winter Sports Teams - Pop Warner Football.
Danny Williams, President of Rancho Cucamonga Pop Warner, provided remarks on the achievements of the two teams
being recognized. He reported that the 6U Panthers competed in the Mt. Baldy Conference and earned an impressive
second -place finish, and the 9U Panthers were named Mt. Baldy Conference Champions. Members of the City Council
presented Certificates of Recognition to the coaches and players of the Rancho Cucamonga Pop Warner 6U and 9U
"Panthers" team. Members of the City Council congratulated and thanked the coaches, parents and volunteers for their
commitment and support.
C. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Michael adjourned the meeting at 6:15 p.m
