Call to Order Roll Call: Bryan Dopp, Ilianna Salas, Ebony McGee Andersen, Tina Gilfry and Tara Bryan B. Announcements/ Presentations C. Public Communications This is the time and place for the general public to address the Public Art Committee on any item listed on the agenda. State law prohibits the Public Art Committee from addressing any issue not previously included on the Agenda. The Public Art Committee may receive testimony and set the matter for a subsequent meeting. Comments are to be limited to three (3) minutes per individual. D. Committee Business D1. Consideration to approve the minutes of March 3, 2026 D2. Verbal update on the Status of the Public Art Fund. D3. Verbal update on current fiscal year public art projects and initiatives. D4. Verbal update on the proposed projects for Fiscal Year 2026/2027. D5. Verbal update on the next Public Art Committee meeting date. E. Allison Town Public Art Committee Secretary City of Rancho Cucamonga PUBLIC ART COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 3, 2026 At 5:30 p.m. A. CALL TO ORDER The City of Rancho Cucamonga Public Art Committee held a special meeting on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Serrano Conference Room at City Hall, located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. Committee Member Ebony McGee Andersen called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m. Present: Committee Members Bryan Dopp,Tara Bryan, Ilianna Salas, Ebony McGee Andersen Absent: Committee Members Tina Gilfry Also Present: Allison Town, Management Analyst I, Acting Community Services Director, Nathan Hunt, Community Services Superintendent, Ted Morales, Kim Sevy, City Clerk, Blanca Madrigal, Executive Assistant 1—City Clerk. B. ANNOUNCEMENTS/PRESENTATIONS B1. Oaths of Office was administered by Kim Sevy for the Newly Appointed Public Art Committee Member Tara Bryan and Re-appointed Public Art Committee Members Ebony McGee Andersen and Iliana Salas. C. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS No public communications were made. D. COMMITTEE BUSINESS D1. Consideration to approve the minutes of December 2, 2025. MOTION: Moved by Ilianna Salas, seconded provisionally by Bryan Dopp to approve the meeting minutes of December 2, 2025. Motion carried 4-0 (AYES: Andersen, Bryan, Dopp, Salas. NOES: None.) D2. Selection of Chair and Vice Chair— Public Art Committee MOTION: Moved by Bryan Dopp, seconded by Ilianna Salas to approve Ebony McGee Andersen as Chair and Ilianna Salas as Vice Chair. Motion carried 4-0 (AYES: Andersen, Bryan, Dopp, and Salas. NOES: None.) D2. Verbal update on the Status of the Public Art Fund. MOTION: N/A Allison Town provided an update on the status of the Public Art Fund balance. Current Public Art Trust Fund -$609,988. Amount Remaining for FY 25/26-$52,132. D3. Verbal update on current fiscal year public art projects and initiatives. MOTION: N/A Allison Town provided an update on the Mini Mural Project. Four(4)artists have completed their murals at four(4) intersection locations: • Pacific Electric Trail e Grove Avenue lone directional marker -Jeaneen Carlino Allen • Pacific Electric Trail @ Amethyst Avenue ltwo_directional markersl-Carly Lake • Pacific Electric Trail @ Archibald Avenue [two directional markersl -Crisselle Mendiola • Pacific Electric Trail @ Ramona Avenue_jone directional.marker -Wendy Duong Town also provided an update on the current Utility Box Beautification Program.The Call for Artists launched February 2, 2026.The final four(4)artists will be selected by mid March. Installation will begin in late May. Town shared the DBH Into Light Exhibition opportunity is now on exhibit in City Hall, featuring original portraits and individual stories of people who have died from the disease of drug addiction. On view until end of May. D4. Verbal update on the proposed projects for Fiscal Year 2026/2027. MOTION: N/A Morales shared that City staff are beginning to plan for projects in FY 26/27, pulling inspiration from the Creative Placemaking& Public Art Strategic Plan and the City's 50`' Anniversary. Discussion centered on locations for community murals and a community photography pop-up show. Committee Member Bryan provided comment on the Red Hill Community Stage location, cautioning the possible effects to longevity of the art due to the pond location and weather elements. Dopp suggested Epi Center has a possible location for public art. D5.Verbal update on the next Public Art Committee meeting date. MOTION: N/A Allison Town informed the Public Art Committee that the next meeting would be held on Tuesday,June 2, 2026. E.
