CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
LIBRARY SUBCOMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
The City of Rancho Cucamonga Library Subcommittee held a special meeting on
Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in the Tri-Community Room located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho
Cucamonga, California. Mayor Pro Tem Kennedy called the meeting to order at 1:37 p.m.
Present were Council Member Mayor Pro Tem Lynne Kennedy, Council Member Kristine Scott, Library
Director Wess Garcia and Executive Assistant II Jennifer Palacios.
None.
C1. Approve and File Minutes of May 17, 2023.
MOTION: Moved by Council Member Scott, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Kennedy, to approve
the Minutes of May 17, 2023.
C2. Interview of Candidates to the Library Board of Trustees.
Mayor Pro Tem Kennedy and Council Member Scott interviewed five (5) candidates for the three
(3) upcoming Library Board of Trustees vacancies. Appointment recommendations will be added
to the Council Business section of the June 19, 2024, City Council Agenda.
Mayor Pro Tem Kennedy adjourned the meeting at 4:03 p.m.
