A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUMMARILY ORDERING
THE VACATION OF AN EASEMENT FOR STORM DRAIN
PURPOSES LOCATED WITHIN AMENDED TENTATIVE TRACT
15727 AT THE INTERSECTION OF FOURTH STREET AND
CUCAMONGA CREEK FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL,
BORDERED BY SIXTH STREET ON THE NORTH
WHEREAS, by Chapter4 Article 1, Section 8333, of the Streets and Highways code,
the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is authorized to summarily vacate a storm drain
easement herein more particularly described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga found all the
evidence submitted that the public storm drain easement is no longer required; and
WHEREAS, amended Tentative Tract 15727 will be a private gated community with
private drainage facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
resolves as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
makes its order vacating the storm drain easement originally
dedicated per Document No. 19970373377, on file in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, which is attached
hereto, labeled Exhibit "A", and by reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 2: That from and after the date the resolution is recorded, said storm
drain easement, located within amended Tentative Tract 15727 no
longer constitutes a public storm drain easement.
SECTION 3: That the subject vacation shall be subject to the reservations and
exceptions, if any, for existing utilities on record.
SECTION 4: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to
be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino
County, California.
SECTION 5: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.

Legal Description
Easement for Storm Drain Purposes
Parcel 1
A strip of land 15 feet in width, being in that portion of Lots 25 & 26 in Section 15,
Township 1 South, Range 7 West, SBM of the Map of Cucamonga Lands, in the City
of Rancho Cucamonga, County of San Bernardino, State of California as recorded in
Book 4, Page 9 of Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County and
lying 7.5 feet on each side of the following described centerline:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said Lot 25, thence South 89° 47' 52" East,
104.88 feet along the northerly line of said Lot 25 to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING;
Thence South 0° 07' 15" West, 18.57 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
northeasterly and having a radius of 22.50 feet;
Thence southerly 11.78 feet along said curve through a central angle of 30° 00' 00";
Thence South 29° 52' 45" East, 8.94 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
southwesterly and having a radius of 22.50 feet;
Thence southerly 11.78 feet along said curve through a central angle
30° 00' 00";
Thence South 00° 07' 15" West, 222.47 feet to the beginning of a curve concave

The side lines of the above described 15 foot strip shall be prolonged or shortened
to terminate on the north at the northerly boundary of said Lot 25 and on the east on
the easterly boundary of said Brook Lane.
Said parcel contains approximately 6,527 square feet (0.15 acre) and is shown on
Exhibit "B" which is attached herewith and by this reference made a part thereof.

A strip of land 15 feet in width being in that portion of Lot 32, Section 15, Township 1
South, Range 7 West, SBM on the Map of Cucamonga Lands in the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, County of San Bernardino, State of California, recorded in Book 4,
Page 9 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said County and lying 7.5
feet on each side of the following described centerline:
Beginning at the intersection of the easterly line of Parcel "B" as described in
document recorded December 24, 1996 as Document No. 19960471326 Official
Records of said San Bernardino County and the northerly line of 4t~ Street as
described by a document recorded on December 24, 1996 as Document No.
19960471325 Official Records of said County;
Thence South 89002' 00" West, 200.52 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Said point of beginning also being a curve concave northwesterly and having a
radius of 45.00 feet;
Thence northerly 10.74 feet along said curve through a central angle of 13° 40' 43";
Thence North 0° 07' 15" East, 117.13 feet to the beginning of a curve concave

South, Range 7 West, SBM on the Maps of Cucamonga Lands in the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, County of San Bernardino, State of California, recorded in Book 4,
Page 9 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said County and lying 7.5
feet on each side of the following described centerline:
Beginning at Point "B" hereinabove described;
Thence North 45° 07' 15" East, 33.00 feet.
The sidelines of the above described 15 foot strip shall be prolonged or shortened to
terminate on the south at the northeasterly line of said Parcel 2 and on the north by
a line that bears through the end of the last call at North 0° 07' 15" East.
Said parcel contains approximately 495 square feet (0.01 acre) and is shown on
Exhibit "B" which is attached herewith and by this reference made a part thereof.
