A DEVELOPMENT REVIEW DRC2003-00504 - CHARLES JOSEPH
ASSOCIATES - A request to develop a 90,000 square foot retail center
including a 14, 480 square foot drug store, 27,000 square foot market, 2
restaurants, and 4 restaurant/retail pad sites ranging m size from 7,000
square feet to 14,000 square feet on 9 acres within the Mixed Use District
of the Victoria Arbors Master Pian, located at the southeast corner of Base
Line Road and Day Creek Boulevard - APN 0227-161-39
III. PUBLIC COMMENTS
This is the hme and place for the general public to address the commission Items to be
discussed here are those that do not already appear on this agenda
IV. ADJOURNMENT
The Planning Comm~ss~on has adopted Administrative Regulations that set an 11 00 p m
adjournment hme If items go beyond that time, they shall be heard only with the consent
of the Commission

Dear Gommissioners:
I am writing in ragards to the workshop you will be holding this evernng on a development
proF~osal for the southeast corner of Base Vne Road and Day Creek Boulevard.
As you may be aware, on January 7"' the City Council approved the formation of a City Council
:subcommittee to review not only this location but the remammg vacant propertes along
E:tiwanda Avenue between the Miller Avenue overpass and Base Line Road to ensure that
future developmen_ will be compatible with the existing historic properties m the area
Because of the possibility that the Council may change zoning and/or land use on this site in the
next few months, the Etiwanda Historical Society would respectfully request that you postpone
any decision in rega.ds to this specific proposal until the completion of the Council
Subcommittee review ~Ne feel this would be the fairest direction to glue the applicant so that
they do not incur any undue expenditures until the Subcommittee's recommendations are
reviewed by the Cdy Council
