RESOLUTION NO. 06-238C A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 1, EXHIBITS "D" THROUGH "F" OF RESOLUTIONS NUMBER 06- 209 AND 06-238B TO INCLUDE NEW CLASSIFICATIONS AND ADJUST RATES OF AFFECTED PART-TIME POSITIONS TO COMPLY WITH THE NEW STATE MINIMUM WAGE LAW WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has determined that it is necessary for the efficient operation and management of the City that policies be established prescribing salary ranges, benefits and holidays and other policies for employees for the City of Rancho Cucamonga; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga recognizes that it competes in a marketplace to obtain qualified personnel to perform and provide municipal services, and that compensation and conditions of employment must be sufficiently attractive to recruit and retain qualified employees. WHEREAS, the State of California has increased the minimum wage effective January 1, 2008, and the City has part-time positions that are assigned a minimum hourly rate that is below the new minimum wage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California to amend Section 1, Exhibits"D"through "F"of Resolutions No.06-209 and 06-238B as per attached Please see the following page for formal adoption,certification and signatures Resolution No. 06-238C Page 2 of 19 PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 201h day of February 2008.
