A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, CALLING A NEW SPECIAL
ELECTION (ANNEXATION NO. 11-7) TO SUBMIT TO THE
QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF TERRITORY PROPOSED TO BE
ANNEXED TO CFD 85-1, A PROPOSITION TO AUTHORIZE THE
LEVY OF SPECIAL TAXES THEREIN
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors (the "Board of Directors") of the Rancho
Cucamonga Fire Protection District(the"Fire Protection District'), Rancho Cucamonga, California,
has previously held a public hearing and, by the adoption of Resolution No. FD 12-006, called a
special election relating to the annexation of territory to Community Facilities District No. 85-1 (the
"District'); and,
WHEREAS, a special election was held on January 25, 2012 and the ballot was
distributed to the landowner as the qualified elector and completed and returned; and,
WHEREAS, upon canvas by the Board Secretary, it was determined that the
landowner failed to place the ballot in the ballot envelope; and
WHEREAS,when notified, the landowner indicated that failure to place ballot in the
ballot envelope was unintentional and requested the opportunity to vote again.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. RECITALS
The above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2. ELECTION
A. A new special election is called within the territory to be annexed to be held on the 22nd day
of February 2012.
B. All other provisions of Resolution No. FD 12-006 shall remain in full force and effect.
