A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING EXHIBIT A
TO RESOLUTION NO. 06-142, AND ADDING AND REVISING
CERTAIN ANIMAL CARE AND SERVICES FEES
A. RECITALS.
(i) The City of Rancho Cucamonga has heretofore adopted regulation governing
the care, adoption, maintenance, control, and disposition of animals within
the City. Said regulations provide that fees for the provision of services
specified therein shall be as established by resolution of the City Council.
(ii) On February 21, 2007, the City Council conducted a public hearing, noticed
as required by law, to consider amending Exhibit A to Resolution No. 06-142,
to adopt new fees and revise existing fees for certain animal-related services
established by said Resolution.
(iii) All legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have occurred.
• B. RESOLUTION.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council hereby finds and resolves as follows:
1. The facts set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of this Resolution are true and
correct.
2. Exhibit A to City Council Resolution No. 06-142 is hereby amended by
revising existing fees and adding new fees, as set forth in Exhibit A attached
hereto and incorporated by reference herein, and applicable to the provision
of animal-related services specified in Title 6 of the Rancho Cucamonga
Municipal Code.
3. The City Council has heretofore determined, and based thereon finds, that
none of the specific fees set forth in Exhibit A hereto, exceed the estimated,
reasonable cost to the City in providing the services for which each fee
applies.
4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
