A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENT
FOR THE EMERGENCY OPENING OF BANYAN AVENUE
(SUMMIT AVENUE)AT THE ETIWANDA CREEK CROSSING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST THERETO
THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, an Executive Emergency Declaration as the Grand Prix Fire burned
across the northern portion of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Emergency declaration was extended to include the subsequent
floods in January 2004; and
WHEREAS, Banyan Avenue(Summit Avenue) is an FHWA designated highway;and
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga performed emergency work on Banyan
Avenue(Summit Avenue) at the Etiwanda Creek crossing, in response to flood damage, during the
declared emergency, and
• WHEREAS,the City has requested reimbursement, in the amount of$10,500.00,for
the emergency work, in accordance with Federal requirements; and
WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of Program Supplement Agreement N010 to
Administering Agency-State Agreement for Federal-Aid Projects No. 08-5420R; and
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA HEREBY RESOLVES,the City has completed the work in accordance with FHWA
regulations, the Mayor is authorized to execute the agreement and the City Clerk to attest thereto.
