A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, COMMITTING THE
CITY TO A MINIMUM 25% LOCAL MATCH OF TOTAL
CONSTRUCTION COSTS FOR THE PACIFIC ELECTRIC TRAIL
CONNECTION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga is eligible to submit a Transportation
Development Act (TDA) Article 3 grant application to the San Bernardino Associated
Governments (SANBAG) for the funding of construction costs associated with the Pacific
Electric Trail Connection Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga has estimated that the total construction
costs of said improvements to be $115,500; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga has identified in the grant application to be
submitted to SANBAG a local match by the City equal to a minimum of 25% of the total
construction costs, or$28,875; and
WHEREAS, said 25% local match for a TDA Article 3 grant equal to $28,875, resulting in
a total funding for said project equal to $115,500.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga hereby resolves to commit the City to a TDA Article 3 grant match of 25% of the
construction costs of said project, up to $28,875. The City Council does reserve the right to
exceed, on its authority, said 25% local match, should a grant amount greater than $115,500 be
awarded to the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
