LLC OF PROPERTY PURSUANT TO THE APPROVED
AMENDED LONG-RANGE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PLAN
RECITALS:
A. Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34175(b) and the California Supreme Court's
decision in California Redevelopment Association, et al. v. Ana Matosantos, et al. (53 CalAth
231(2011)), on February 1, 2012, all assets, properties, contracts, leases, books and records,
buildings, and equipment of the former Rancho Cucamonga Redevelopment Agency (the
"Agency") transferred to the control of the Successor Agency to the Agency (the "Successor
Agency") by operation of law.
B. Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34191.5(b), the Successor Agency must
prepare a long-range property management plan which addresses the disposition and use of the
real properties of the former Agency, and which must be submitted to the Oversight Board of the
Successor Agency (the "Oversight Board") and the Department of Finance (the "DOF") for
approval no later than six months following the issuance by DOF to the Successor Agency of a
finding of completion pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34179.7.
C. The Successor Agency prepared and submitted to the Oversight Board an amended long-
range property management plan (the "Amended LRPMP"), which Amended LRPMP addresses
the disposition and use of the real property of the former Agency and includes the information
required pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34191.5(c).
D. The Amended LRPMP was approved by the DOF on January 17, 2014.
E. The property that is the subject of this Resolution is described in the Amended LPRMP as
property that is to be sold.
F. The Successor Agency staff has negotiated a"Purchase and Sale Agreement and Escrow
Instructions" ("PSA") for the sale of the property, which is more particularly described in the PSA.
A copy of the proposed PSA is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
G. The PSA provides that it will not be effective unless it is approved by the Oversight Board
