• A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING
COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ZONE CHANGE
NO. 80-07 REQUESTING A CHANGE IN THE ZONING FROM
R-1-20,000 TO R-1-10,000 FOR 10 ACRES OF LAND
LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF BANYAN AND
AMETHYST - ASSESSORS PARCEL NO. 1062-401-11
WHEREAS, on the 24 day of April, 1980, an application was filed
and accepted on the above described project; and
WHEREAS, on the 14 day of May, 1980, the Planning Commission held
a duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the California
Government Code.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has made
the following findings:
1. That the subject property is suitable for the uses
permitted in the proposed zone in terms of access,
size, and compatibility with existing land use in
the surrounding area;
2. The proposed zone change would not have significant
impact on the environment nor the surrounding pro-
perties; and
• 3. That the proposed zone change is in conformance with
the proposed General Plan.
SECTION 2: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has found
that this project will not create a significant adverse impact
on the environment and recommends issuance of a Negative Declar-
ation on May 14, 1980.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the
California Government Code, that the Planning
Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
recommends approval on the 14 day of May, 1980,
Zone Change No. 80-07.
2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the
City Council approve and adopt Zone Change No. 80-07.
3. That a Certified Copy of this resolution and related
material hereby adopted by the Planning Commission
shall be forwarded to the City Council.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 14 DAY OF MAY, 1980.

I, JACK LAM, Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga at a regular meeting of the Planning Commis-
sion held on the 14th day of May, 1980, by the following vote,
to wit:
