A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING
COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ZONE CHANGE
NO. 80-11 REQUESTING A CHANGE IN THE ZONING FROM
A-1-5 TO R-1-20,000 AND R-3 FOR 65 ACRES LOCATED
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF WILSON, ADJACENT TO THE EAST
BOUNDARIES OF CHAFFEY COLLEGE AND EXTENDING SOUTH
TO BANYAN - APN 201-191-07
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of August, 1980, an application was
filed and accepted on the above-described project; and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of July, 1982, the Planning Commission
held a duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the
California Government Code.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has made
the following findings :
1. That the subject property is suitable for the uses
permitted in the proposed zone in terms of access,
size, and compatibility with existing land use in
the surrounding area; and
2. That the proposed zone change would not have sig-
nificant impact on the environment nor the surround-
ing properties; and
3. That the proposed zone change is in conformance with
the General Plan.
SECTION 2: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has found
that this project will not create a significant adverse impact on the
environment and recommends issuance of a Negative Declaration on
July 14, 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the
California Government Code, that the Planning
Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
recommends approval on the 14th day of July, 1982,
Zone Change No. 80-11.
2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends that
the City Council approve and adopt Zone Change
No. 80-11.

• 3. That a Certified Copy of this Resolution and re-
lated material hereby adopted by the Planning
Commission shall be forwarded to the City Council .
