A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING
COMMISSION APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO.
82-14 FOR GRACE BRETHREN CHURCH PRESCHOOL AND
KINDERGARDEN LOCATED AT 5719 BERYL STREET IN
THE R-1-20,000 ZONE
WHEREAS, on the 24th day of June, 1982, a complete application
was filed by Grace Brethren Church for review of the above-described
project; and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of July, 1982, the Rancho Cucamonga
Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the above-described
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission
resolved as follows:
SECTION 1: That the following findings can be met:
1. That the proposed use is in accord with the General
Plan, and the purposes of the zone in which the use
is proposed; and
• 2. That the proposed use, together with the conditions
applicable thereto, will not be detrimental to the
public health, safety, or welfare, or materially
injurious to properties or improvements in the
vicinity; and
3. That the proposed use will comply with each of the
applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 2: That Conditional Use Permit No. 82-14 is
approved subject to the following conditions:
PLANNING DIVISION
1. The site shall be developed in accordance with the
approved site plans on file in the Planning Division
and conditions contained herein.
2. Approval of this request shall not waive compliance
with all sections of the Zoning Ordinance and all
other applicable City Ordinances.

• 3. Any signs proposed for this conditional use permit shall
be designed in conformance with the Comprehensive Sign
Ordinance and shall require review and approval by the
Planning Division prior to installation of such signs.
4. All laws and regulations of the State Department of
Social Services relating to licensing of children's day
care facilities shall be complied with prior to opening
of the school .
5. Expansion of the preschool and kindergarden beyond 72
students will require the approval of a modified conditional
use permit.
6. If the operation of this school causes adverse affects
upon adjacent properties , the conditional use permit
shall be brought before the Planning Commission for their
consideration and possible termination of such use.
7. Operation of the preschool and kindergarden shall not
commence until such time as all Uniform Building Code
and Title 19 of the State Fire Marshall ' s Regulations
have been complied with. Plans shall be submitted to
the Foothill Fire Protection District and the Building
and Safety Division to show compliance.

I , JACK LAM, Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission held on the 14th day of July, 1982, by the following vote-to-
wit:
