A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 82-18 FOR ALTA LOMA
ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH, LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF ARCHIBALD AVENUE AND WILSON AVENUE IN THE R-1-20,000
ZONE
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of September, 1982, a complete application
was filed by Lawrence Howard for review of the above-described project; and
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of November, 1982, the Rancho Cucamonga
Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the above-described
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission resolved as
follows:
SECTION 1: That the following findings can be met:
1. That the proposed use is in accord with the General
Plan, and the purposes of the zone in which the use
is proposed; and
• 2. That the proposed use, together with the conditions
applicable thereto, will not be detrimental to the
public health, safety, or welfare, or materially
injurious to properties or improvements in the
vicinity; and
3. That the proposed use will comply with each of the
applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 2: That this project will not create adverse impacts on the
environment and that a Negative Declaration is issued on November 22, 1982.
SECTION 3: That Conditional Use Permit No. 82-18 is approved
subject to the following conditions:
PLANNING DIVISION
1. When the permanent sanctuary is constructed, the
subject buildings shall be removed or upgraded
architecturally to match the design of the permanent
facilities. Conceptual elevations for the
building(s) to be saved shall be submitted with the
development package required for approval of future
buildings.

2. The two doors on the east elevation of the multi-
purpose building shall be relocated to the north and
south sides of the structure. In conjunction with
the change, revised elevations with additional trim
shall be submitted to and approved by the City
Planner prior to issuance of building permits.
3. The sidewalk on the east side of the multi-purpose
building shall be removed and additional landscaping
shall be provided along the east property line
adequate to buffer the future homes, subject to the
review and approval by the City Planner.
4. A comprehensive Master Plan of the church property
shall be provided with the development package
required for approval of permanent facilities. Such
Master Plan shall consider the separation between
buildings, parking lot configuration, adjacent land
uses, and the future needs and desires of the church
congregation.
• 5. All laws and regulations of the State Department of
Social Services relating to licensing of children's
day care facilities shall be complied with prior to
opening of the school .
6. Expansion of the preschool and kindergarten beyond
40 students will require the approval of a modified
conditional use permit.
7. If the operation of this school causes adverse
affects upon adjacent properties, the conditional
use permit shall be brought before the Planning
Commission for their consideration and possible
termination of such use.
8. Operation of the preschool and kindergarten shall
not commence until such time as all Uniform Building
Code and Title 19 of the State Fire Marshall 's
Regulations have been complied with. Plans shall be
submitted to the Foothill Fire Protection District
and the Building and Safety Division to show
compliance.
ENGINEERING DIVISION
9. The church shall be required to participate in the
• Alta Loma Channel Assessment District and a written
agreement to the satisfaction of the City Engineer
prior to issuance of any building permits shall be
executed.

10. The catch basin on Archibald, including connecting
pipes, shall be reconstructed with Wilson Avenue
Street improvements.
