• A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DENYING GENERAL PLAN
AMENDMENT 83-04A - CARNELIAN INVESTMENTS, TO AMEND THE
GENERAL PLAN LAND USE PLAN FROM LOW RESIDENTIAL (2-4
DU/AC) TO MEDIUM RESIDENTIAL (4-14 DU/AC) ON
APPROXIMATELY 7.9 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE
OF HIGHLAND AVENUE BETWEEN JASPER AND CARNELIAN STREETS -
APN 201-214-08
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on September
28, 1983 to consider General Plan Amendment 83-04A; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has heard and considered all public
testimony regarding the amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission denies
General Plan Amendment 83-04A based on the following findings:
A. The amendment does not conform with the residential
land use policies of the General Plan.
B. The amendment does not promote the goals of the Land
• Use Element.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 28TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1983.

I, JACK LAM, Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held
on the 28th day of September, 1983, by the following vote-to-wit:
