A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 83-23 FOR A FITNESS
CENTER LOCATED AT 9507 ARROW HIGHWAY, SUITE H, IN THE
INDUSTRIAL AREA SPECIFIC PLAN AREA
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of December, 1983, a complete application was
filed by Lynda Unger and Denise Knight for review of the above-described
project; and
WHEREAS, on the 11th day of January, 1984, the Rancho Cucamonga
Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the above-described
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission resolved as
follows:
SECTION 1: That the following findings can be met:
1. That the proposed use is in accord with the General
Plan, and the purposes of the zone in which the use
is proposed; and
• 2. That the proposed use, together with the conditions
applicable thereto, will not be detrimental to the
public health, safety, or welfare, or materially
injurious to properties or improvements in the
vicinity; and
3. That the proposed use will comply with each of the
applicable provisions of the Development Code.
SECTION 2: That Conditional Use Permit No. 83-23 is approved
subject to the following conditions:
PLANNING DIVISION
1. That all City Codes and Ordinances shall be complied
with at all times.
2. If operation of this facility should cause any
adverse impacts upon business or properties in the
immediate vicinity, this permit shall be brought
before the Planning Commission for reconsideration,
modification or revocation.
3. This CUP shall be null and void in the event of an
ownership change or a significant change in its
operation. In either case, a new or modified CUP
• shall be required.

4. Class size on weekdays shall not exceed 30 people
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Class
sizes shall never exceed an amount greater than the
parking available for this facility.
5. Noise attenuation material shall be provided on
interior walls separating this use from adjacent
uses. Details shall be shown on appropriate
construction drawings and shall be approved by the
City Planner and Building Official . Such material
shall be installed prior to occupancy of structure.

I, Rick Gomez, Deputy Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission
held on the 11th day of January, 1984, by the following vote to wit:
