A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 84-08 FOR ST.
PETER/ST. PAUL CHURCH LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
BANYAN AND BERYL IN THE LOW RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of May, 1984, a complete application was
filed by St. Peter/St. Paul Church for review of the above-described project;
and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of June, 1984, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning
Commission held a public hearing to consider the above-described project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission resolved as
follows:
SECTION 1: That the following findings can be met:
1. That the proposed use is in accord with the General
Plan, the objectives of the Development Code, and
the purposes of the district in which the site is
located.

• 2. That the proposed use, together with the conditions
applicable thereto, will not be detrimental to the
public health, safety, or welfare, or materially
injurious to properties or improvements in the
vicinity.
3. That the proposed use complies with each of the
applicable provisions of the Development Code.
SECTION 2: That this project will not create adverse impacts on the
environment and that a Negative Declaration is issued on June 13, 1984.
SECTION 3: That Conditional Use Permit No. 84-08 is approved
subject to the following conditions:
1. All State laws and regulations regarding the licensing and
operation of preschools and schools shall be complied with prior
to opening of the school .
2. Expansion of the preschool beyond 120 children will require
approval of a modified Conditional Use Permit.
3. Prior to any use of the building or business activity being
commenced thereon, the existing building shall be made to comply
with current Uniform Building Codes and State Fire Marshall
• Regulations. The applicant shall contact the City's Building
and Safety Division and the Foothill Fire District to discuss
these requirements.

4. If the operation of this school causes adverse effects upon
adjacent properties, the Conditional Use Permit shall be brought
before the Planning Commission for their consideration and
possible termination of such uses.
5. Precise design and site plan review will be required for all
proposed future phases.
6. Prior to any use of the project site or business activity being
commenced thereon, all conditions of approval contained herein
shall be completed to the satisfaction of the City Planner.
7. Hours of operation shall be limited to between 7:00 a.m. and
6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
8. Approval of this request shall not waive compliance with all
sections of the Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable City
ordinances.
9. Protective fencing either temporary or permanent shall be
• installed along the walk way from the main building to the play
yard.

regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held
