A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVING MINOR DEVELOPMENT REVIEW NO. 86-05 LOCATED AT
9133 CENTER STREET IN THE GENERAL INDUSTRIAL/RAIL SERVED
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of March, 1986, a complete application was
filed by California Finished Metals for review of the above-described project;
and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of May, 1986, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning
Commission held a meeting to consider the above-described project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission resolved as
follows:
SECTION 1: That the following can be met:
1. That the proposed project is consistent with the
objectives of the General Plan; and
2. That the proposed use is in accord with the
objective of the Industrial Specific Plan and the
purposes of the district in which the site is
located; and
3. That the proposed use is in compliance with each of
the applicable provisions of the Industrial Specific
Plan; and
4. That the proposed use, together with the conditions
applicable thereto, will not be detrimental to the
public health, safety, or welfare, or materially
injurious to properties or improvements in the
vicinity; and
5. Adequate screening of outdoor storage is provided
through existing landscaping.
SECTION 2: That this project will not create adverse impacts on the
environment and is categorically exempt in accordance with the California
Environmental Quality Act.
SECTION 3: That Minor Development Review No. 86-05 is approved
subject to the following conditions:
PLANNING DIVISION
1. Street trees, a minimum of 15 gallon size or larger,
shall be installed per City standard and shall be
planted 20' on center along 7th Street.

2. Approval shall expire, unless extended by the City
Planner, if building permits for the roof canopy are
not issued within twenty-four (24) months of the
date of approval .
3. Approval of this request shall not waive compliance
with all sections of the Industrial Specific Plan,
Development Code, and all other applicable Standards
and City Ordinances in effect at the time of
building permit issuance.
4. The landscaping along 7th Street shall be maintained
in a healthy and thriving condition. In particular,
the oleander shrubs shall be trained to grow into a
dense hedgerow to screen outdoor storage.
BUILDING DIVISION
1. The applicant shall obtain all necessary permits
from the Building & Safety Division for the metal
roof canopy.
2. The applicant shall comply with the latest adopted
Uniform Building Code, Uniform Mechanical Code,
Uniform Plumbing Code, National Electric Code, and
all other applicable codes, ordinances, and
regulations in effect at the time of issuance of
relative permits.

Rancho Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held
on the 28th day of May, 1986, by the following vote-to-wit:
