A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 86-04A, AMENDING THE LAND USE
ELEMENT OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA GENERAL PLAN FROM MEDIUM
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (8-14 DU/AC) TO OFFICE FOR 3.9 ACRES,
OFFICE FOR 1.55 ACRES, AND LOW-MEDIUM FOR 5 ACRES OF LAND
LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF HIGHLAND AVENUE AND
HAVEN AVENUE - APN 201-262-28, 30, 31, 36, 37, 40, 41,
43, AND 201-263-01 THROUGH 25.
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission has held a duly advertised public
hearing to consider all comments on the proposed General Plan Amendment No.
86-04A.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission hereby makes the
following findings:
A. The Amendment does not conflict with the Land Use
Policies of the General Plan.
B. The Amendment promotes goals of the Land Use
Element.
C. The Amendment would not be materially injurious or
detrimental to the adjacent properties.
SECTION 2: The General Plan Land Use Map shall be amended as
follows:
A. Assessor' s Parcel Numbers 201-262-23, 31, 41, 43,
portion of 30, and 201-263-01 through 25
approximately 5 acres in size shall be changed from
Medium Density (8-14 du/ac) Residential to Low-
Medium Residential (4-8 du/ac)
B. Assessor' s Parcel Numbers 201-262-36 and 37,
approximately 1.55 acres in size shall be changed
from Medium Density (8-14 du/ac) Residential to
Office.
C. The portions of Assessor' s Parcel Numbers 201-262-
30, 31, and 40 south of the future re-alignment of
Highland Avenue and north of the future freeway
right-of-way, approximately 3.9 acres in size shall
be changed from Medium Density Residential (4-14
du/ac) to Office.

SECTION 3: A Negative Declaration is hereby recommended for
adoption by the City Council for this General Plan Amendment, based upon
the completion and findings of the Initial Study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Rancho Cucamonga
Planning Commission does hereby recommend approval of General Plan
Amendment No. 86-04A to the City Council .

I, Brad Buller, Deputy Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held
on the 10th day of December, 1986, by the following vote-to-wit:
