DISTRICT NO. 88-1 F'~ FISCAL YEaR 1992-93
M{EREAS, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protectic~ District (formerly Foothill Fire Protectic~ District, hereinafter
referred to as t/le "legislative body~') has initiated proceedings, held a
public hearing, coY]ucted an electic~ and received a favorable vote from the
qualified electors relatin~ to the levy of a special tax in a cuzum3nity
facilities district, all as authurized pursuant to the terms and provisions of
the '~4ello-Roos Oa~,unity Facilities Act of 1982", as amended, being Chapter
2.5, Part 1, Divisic~ 2, Title 5 of the Gove/-..~nt COde of the State of
California. ~ Oaa,unity Facilities District is designated as CC~2~3NITY
FACII,TT/ES DISTRICT NO. 88-1 (hereinafter referred to as the "District"); and
M{~qEAS, as a result of such election, the qualified electors of the
District authorized the esteblishment of an Article XIIIB appropriations limit
for the District equal to the maximum authorized special taxes which may be
levied in any fiscal year; and
WH~RFAS, this legislative body desires to est~_blish the appropria-
tions limit for the District for fiscal year 1992-93.
NC~, TH~]~E, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
S~CTION 1: Appropriations Limit. This legislative body hereby
esta_blishes the appropriations limit for Ccm~ty Facilities District No.
88-1 for fiscal year 1992-93 in an amount equal to $312,113.00.
SEETION 2: Approval by Electorate. ~ legislative body hereby
finds and det~ that the foregoing appropriations limit has been
authorized by the qualified electnrs of the District at a special election
bald on April 4, 1989, in the manner provided by law.
