FACTI.TTIES ACT OF 1982" SPECIAL ~A/AND BC~ND AUTaCeIZA-
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Ranch3 C~M?amcrr/a Fire Protec-
tion District has previously declared its intention and held and conducted
pr~ relating to the annexation of territory to an existing CUnmunity
Facilities District pursuant to the terms and pzovisions of the '~4ello-Roos
O~,,~unity Facilities Act of 1982", beir~ Cba~r~cer 2.5. Part 1, Division 2,
Title 5 of the ~ Code of the State of California, and specifically
Article 3.5 thereof. The existing Oamunity Facilities District has been
designated as M~.~O-ROOS CCPMUNITY FACIT.TTIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 (hereinafter
referred to as the "District"); and
WHEREAS, the area proposed to be annexed is known and designated as
M~I.I~-R00S CCM~jNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1, ANNEXAT/ON NO. 92-1 (here-
inafter referred to as the "annexBd territory"); and
WHEREAS, said legislative body did call for ara order to be held an
election to subnit to the qualified voters of the annexed territory a proposi-
tion to levy a special tax in the annexed territory; and
WHEREAS, at this time said election has been held and the measure
voted upon did receive the favorable 2/3's vote of the qualified voters, and
this legislative body does desire to declare the favorable results of the
election in accoraance with the authorization of Section 22932 of the
Elections Code of the State of California.
NOW, THEREF(Pa, the Board of Directors of the Ranc/lo Cucamonc/a Fire
Protects ion District does he~ resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2: That this legislative body hereby receives and approves
the C~/{I'I~'~CATE OF RLRCTION OFFICIAL AND g/RT~4~E OF VOTES CAST, as submitted
by the Secretary of the Board of Directors, said Statement setting forth the
number of votes cast in the election, the measure vot__~__ upon, and the number
of votes given for and/or against the measure voted upon. A copy of said
Certificate and Statement is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", referenced
SECtlION 3: That the Secretary is hereby directed to enter in the
minutes of this meeting the results of the election and the gEkTEM~f OF VOTES
CAST.

SECT/ON 4: That this legislative body does he~ further determine
that the area subject to the annexatic~ is now added to and becomes a part of
the existing District, and this legislative body may now levy the aut/x~ized
Resolutic~ of Intentic~ to annex pr~.
SECTION 5: That immediately upon adoption of this Resolution, the
~ TO ~{E NOTICE OF SPECIAL ~AX ~ (NOT/CE OF ANNEXAT/ON) shall be
recorded in the Office of the County ReoL~der.

HEREBY CERTIFY that pursuant to the provisions of Section 53326 of the
Government Code and Division 12, commencing with Section 17000 of the
Elections Code of the State of California, I did canvass the returns of
the votes cast at the
