A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIR~CIDRS OF THE RANCHO
~GA FIRE ~ON DISTRICT, CITY OF RANCMO
~, ODUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
DESIGNATING ITS REPRES~lqTATIVE(S) TO THE ~ BOARD
OF THE F/RE ~JS~lqCIES INSURANCE RISK AUTHORITY
~EREAS, the District Board of Directors approved authorization to
participate in a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreerent entitled, "Fire Agencies
Insurance Risk Authority" (FAIRA), for purposes of self-insurance for
vehicular, property and general liability insure on March 3, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the District is a charter member of FAIRA and is authorized
one representative on the Executive Governing Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to update the District's primary and
alternate representatives to the FAIRA Governing Board of Directors.
NON, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District does hereby resolve to designate L. Dennis Michael, Fire
Chief, as its primary representative and Jim Hart, ~£tministrative Services
Director, as its alternate representative to the FA/RA Goverr~ Board of
Directors.
