A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 86-28 FOR NEW HOPE
COMMUNITY CHURCH LOCATED AT 8560 VINEYARD IN THE GENERAL
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of December, 1986, a complete application
was filed by New Hope Community Church for review of the above-described
project; and
WHEREAS, on the 11th day of February, 1987, the Rancho Cucamonga
Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the above-described
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission resolved as
follows:
SECTION 1: That the following findings can be met:
1. That the proposed use is in accord with the General
Plan, the objectives of the Industrial Specific Plan
, and the purposes of the district in which the site
is located.
2. That the proposed use, together with the conditions
applicable thereto, will not be detrimental to the
public health, safety, or welfare, or materially
injurious to properties or improvements in the
vicinity.
3. That the proposed use complies with each of the
applicable provisions of the Industrial Specific
Plan.
SECTION 2: That this project will not create adverse impacts on the
environment and that a Negative Declaration is issued on February 11, 1987.
SECTION 3: That Conditional Use Permit No. 86-28 is approved
subject to the following conditions:
1. This approval shall run with the applicant and shall
become void upon a change of ownership, or the use ceases.
2. The site shall be developed in accordance with the
approved plans on file in the Planning Division, the
conditions contained herein, and Industrial Area Specific
Plan regulations. Prior to any use of the project site or
business activity being commenced thereon, all conditions
of approval shall be completed to the satisfaction of the
City Planner and Building Official .

3. Approval of this request shall not waive compliance with
all sections of the Industrial Area Specific Plan, all
other applicable City Ordinances, and applicable community
plans or specific plans in effect at the time of
occupancy.
4. Any signs proposed for this Conditional Use Permit shall
be designed in conformance with the Comprehensive Sign
Ordinance and shall require review and approval by the
Planning Division prior to installation of such signs.
5. If the operation of this church causes adverse effects -
upon adjacent businesses or operations, the Conditional
Use Permit shall be brought before the Planning Commission
for their consideration and possible termination of such
use.
6. Public assembly or large group meetings (50+ persons) ,
shall not commence until such time as all Uniform Building
Code aiW State Fire Marshall ' s Regulations have been
complied with (See Exhibit "E") . Prior to occupancy,
plans shall be submitted to the Foothill Fire Protection
District and the Building and Safety Division to show
compliance. The building shall be inspected for
compliance prior to occupancy.
7. The building may be used for religious assembly and group
meetings only on Saturday and Sunday and after 6:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday.
8. Preschools or schools are not allowed by this permit;
however, this shall not preclude nurseries or Sunday
School during the hours for religious assembly and group
meetings.

I, Brad Buller, Deputy Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held
on the 11th day of February, 1987, by the following vote-to-wit:
