A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCMO
CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING A SCHEDUI/E OF FRF.q FOR PLANS CHECKING AND
INSPECTION
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protec-
tion District hag adopted Ordinance No. FD 6, providing for adoption of fees
reasonably borne frc~n plan checking and inspection; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Board of Directors that the fees
established herein shall cover, but not exceed, the estimated reasonable cost
of providing the service for which the fee is charged; and
WHEREAS, based upon evidence presented, the Board of Directors hereby
determines that the fees established herein reasonably cover but do not exceed
the estimated reasonable cost for providing the service for which the fee is
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District does hereby resolve that the following fees shall be paid:
Start-up fee for commercial, industrial or multi-family
dwelling units (paid prior to TRC)

Plan review; buildingand/or system(s) inspection
A. Single family residential

Non-residential development and multi-family
residential dwelling

C. Interiorand/or exterior buildingalteration

D. New sprinkler systems or over 10 heads

The charge for any revision of a previously
approved plan or a change request (form FSD-2)
for any of the above, shall be $85.00 per hour
for the estimated time spent in review but not
less than 25 percent of the original fee

Failure to keep consultation or field inspection
appointment without notification (1 hour minimum)
Division consultation fees not otherwise stated
(except phone consultations) (1 hour minimum)
Fire flow test (1 hour)
Consultant plan check fee shall be paid by the
developer/contractor or owner, and shall be paid
prior to plan approval
Field inspection requiring more than the initial
inspection, plus 1 follow up
Field inspection of self-inspection occupancies who
have refused tocenducttheir own inspection
