A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO
CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, RANCHO CUCAMONGA,
CALIFORNIA, MAKING APPOINTMENTS IN A COMMUNITY FACILITIES
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of Di rectors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fi re
Protection District has replaced the Foothill Fire Protection District, and
will take all future actions relating to the proceedings for Community
Facilities District No. 88-1; and
WHEREAS, said Board of Directors (hereinafter referred to as the
"legislative body of the local Agency"), at this time is desirous to annex
territory to an existing Community Facilities District pursuant to the terms
and provisions of the "Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982", being
Chapter 2.5, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code of the State
of California, and specifically Article 3.5 thereof. The existing Community
Facilities District has been designated as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO.
88-1 (hereinafter referred to as the "District"); and
WHEREAS, the area proposed to be annexed shal 1 be known and
designated as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 88-1, ANNEXATION NO. 1
(hereinafter referred to as the "annexed territory"); and
WHEREAS, the legislative body desires to make the required
appointments and designating persons to perform certain duties, in order to
allow the proceedings to go forward to completion in accordance with the
provisions of law.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District, Rancho Cucamonga, California, does hereby resolve as
fol 1 ows:
SECTION 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2: That the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District will
be taking all future actions and steps relating to these proceedings for the
previously authorized and formed Community Facilities District No. 88-1,
inasmuch as said District has superseded and replaced the Foothill Fire
Protection District.
SECTION 3: That throughout the course of these proceedings, the
Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District will be
acting as the legislative body of the Community Facilities District No. 88-1,
a legally constituted governmental entity as defined by Section 53317 of the
Government Code of the State of California.

SECTION 4: A11 regul atory rules of the Rancho Cucamonga Fi re
Protection District, including date, time and place of meetings, as well as
notice requirements, shall be applicable for all proceedings conducted by this
legislative body as the governing body of the Community Facilities District.
SECTION 5: That the INLAND VALLEY DAILY BULLETIN i s hereby
designated as the newspaper for all publications as required by law and as
necessary for completion of this District.
SECTION 6: That BROWN, HARPER, BURNS & HENTSCHKE, Attorneys at Law,
is hereby appointed to act as Special Counsel for the purposes of preparing
al 1 documentati on and resol uti ons rel ati ng to the annexati on proceedings, and
upon the completion of the election, Counsel shall be paid a flat fee of
$1,000.00.

I, DEBRA J. ADAMS, SECRETARY of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection
District do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly passed,
approved, and adopted by the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 1st day of
August, 1990.
