A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO
CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, COUNTY OF SAN
BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
TO PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS
WHEREAS, the State of California requires a resolution authorizing
the Department of General Services to purchase items from a state contract for
local agency use; and
WHEREAS, purchase from a state contract results in considerable
savings when purchasing vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District does hereby resolve and authorize the Office of Procure-
ment, Department of General Services of the State of California to purchase
materials, supplies and equipment for and on behalf of the Rancho Cucamonga
Fire Protection District pursuant to Section 14814, Government Code, and that
the Fire Chief is hereby authorized and directed to sign and deliver all
necessary requests and other documents in connection therewith for and on
behalf of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 21st day of March, 1990.
