A RESOLUTION OF THE FOOTHILL FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIREC-
TORS, COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, COMMENDING
CHRISTOPHER P. CONNOLLY FOR HIS
ACTIONS IN REPORTING A POTENTIALLY
DANGEROUS FIRE
WHEREAS, on May 18 , 1987 , the Foothill
Fire Protection District did respond to a grass fire
at Red Hill Country Club Drive and the Cucamonga Wash;
and
WHEREAS, several nearby homes in the
area were jeopardized by this fire ; and
WHEREAS, Christopher P. Connolly did
see said fire and immediately call the emergency 9-1-1
number; and
WHEREAS, this prompt response by
Christopher P. Connolly did allow the fire department
to arrive quickly and prevent the fire from spreading
and endangering homes and lives ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the
Foothill Fire Protection District does hereby acknow-
ledge and commend Christopher P. Connolly for his
quick-thinking performance in an emergency situation
and his conscientious involvement in his community.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS llth day of June, 1987 .
