A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A MODIFICATION OF
ENTERTAINMENT PERMIT NO. 89-02 FOR THE POLO GROUNDS
RESTAURANT/NIGHT CLUB, AND MAKING FINDINGS IN SUPPORT
THEREOF - APN: 208-382-10
A. Recitals.
(i ) On February 28, 1990, the Commission conducted a duly noticed
public hearing, modifying Entertainment Permit 89-02 to include talent shows
as an entertainment use for the Polo Grounds Restaurant.
(ii ) All legal prerequisites prior to the adoption of this
Resolution have occurred.
B. Resolution:
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby found, determined and resolved by the
Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows:
1 . This Commission hereby specifically finds that all of the facts
set forth in the Recitals, Part A. of this Resolution are true
and correct.
2. Based upon substantial evidence including written staff reports
and the hearings described in the Recitals, Part A, above, this
Commission hereby specifically finds since April 26, 1989, the
applicant has established a record of operation in compliance
with conditions of approval of Entertainment Permit No. 89-02 .
3. Based upon substantial evidence presented to this Commission and
upon specific findings of facts set forth in paragraphs 1 and 2
above, this Commission hereby approves modification to
Entertainment Permit No. 89-02 , for the addition of "talent
shows" to the approved list of uses, (a disc jockey doing live
vocals, dancing, live entertainment, concerts, live jazz and
live comedy acts) subject to the following conditions:
1) No more than ten (10) contestants shall be
allowed to compete in a talent night event.
2) The scope of the "talent night" modification
shall be limited to lip sync acts, singing
and/or dancing acts, magic acts and comedy
acts.
3) Monitoring of approved entertainment uses as
outlined by Entertainment Permits 87-01 and 89-
02 , shall continue.

4) Failure to comply with Section 5.12.100, of the
Entertainment Ordinance may result in
suspension or revocation of Entertainment
Permits 87-01 and/or 89-02.
5) All conditions previously imposed by
Entertainment Permit Nos. 87-01 and 89-02 and
Planning Commission Resolution Nos. 87-102 and
89-54, shall continue in all respects and with
full force and effect.
4. The Secretary of this Commission shall certify to adoption of
this Resolution.
