CALLTO ORDER An adjourned meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District was held on Thursday, June 17, 1999, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. The meeting was called to order at 5:44 p.m. by President William J. Alexander. Present were Boardmembers: Paul Biane, James Curatalo, Bob Dutton, Diane Williams and President William J. Alexander. Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; Linda D. Daniels, Redevelopment Agency Director; Larry Temple, Administrative Services Director; Tamara Layne, Finance Officer; Kevin McArdle, Community Services Director; Dave Moore, Recreation Superintendent; Paula Pachon, Management Analyst II; Rick Gomez, Community Development Director; Brad Buller, City Planner; Joe O'Neil, City Engineer; Bill Makshanoff, Building Official; Deborah Clark, Library Director; Chief Dennis Michael, Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District; Michelle Bancroft, Management Analyst II; Duane Baker, Assistant to the City Manager; Djane O'Neal, Assistant to the City Manager; Jenny Haruyama, Management Analyst I; and Debra J. Adams, Secretary. B. PUBLIC HEARINGS B1. CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT GENERAL FUND PRELIMINARY BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,886,090 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998/2000 AND SET FINAL APPROVAL OF FINAL BUDGET FOR JULY 21, 1999 Staff report presented by Jack Lain, City Manager President Alexander opened the meeting for public hearing. There being no response, the public hearing was closed. MOTION: Moved by Dutton, seconded by Willlares to approve staff's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously 5-0. B2. CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT THE FISCAL YEAR 1999/2000 GENERAL FUND ARTICLE XIII-B APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT IN THE AMOUNT OF 810,143,140 Staff report presented by Jack Lain, City Manager. FD 99-007 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL FUND APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999/2000 PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIII-B OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION MOTION: Moved by Biane, seconded by Dutton to approve Resolution No. FD 99-007. Motion carried unanimously 5-0. B3. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF RESOLUTIONS ADOPTING A BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,609,520, ESTABLISHING AN APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT IN THE AMOUNT OF 95,290,640, AND ESTABLISHING THE MAXIMUM SPECIAL TAX THAT COULD BE LEVIED IN COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999/2000 Staff report presented by Jack Lain, City Manager. FD 99-009 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING AN APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR MELLO-ROOS COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999/2000 RESOLUTION NO. FD 99-010 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE MAXIMUM SPECIAL TAX WHICH COULD BE LEVIED IN MELLO-ROOS COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000 MOTION: Moved by Dutton, seconded by Williams to approve Resolution Nos. FD 99-008, 99-009 and 99-010. Motion carried unanimously 5-0. B4. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF RESOLUTIONS ADOPTING A BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF 9427,780 AND APPROVING THE APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT IN THE AMOUNT OF $444,408 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000 IN COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 88-1 Staff report presented by Jack Larn, City Manager. FD 99-011 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 88-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000 RESOLUTION NO. FD 99-012 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 88-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000 MOTION: Moved by Curatalo, seconded by Dutton to approve Resolution Nos. 99-011 and 99-012.
