A. CALL TO ORDER
A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District met on
Wednesday, October 18, 1989, in the Lions Park Community Center, 9161 Base Line
Road, Rancho Cucamonga, California. The meeting was called to order at 7:08 p.m.
by President Dennis L. Stout.
Present were Boardmembers: William J. Alexander, Deborah N. Brown, Charles J.
Buquet II, Pamela J. Wright, and President Dennis L. Stout.
Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; Andy Arczynski, Deputy City Attorney;
Linda D. Daniels, Deputy City Manager; Chief Dennis Michael, Rancho Cucamonga
Fire Protection District; and Debra J. Adams, Secretary.

B1. President Stout announced that nine fire fighters will be sworn in on
October 30, 1989 at 7:00 p.m. at Alta Loma Jr. High School.

Walton to "C" Step Fire Prevention Inspector ($3,024.47 per month) effective
October 21, 1989 for Outstanding Performance of Duties.
MOTION: Moved by Brown, seconded by Alexander to approve the Consent Calendar.
Motion carried unanimously, 5-0.

MOTION: Moved by Alexander, seconded by Wright to adjourn to executive session.

Jack Lam, City Manager, stated the executive session was to discuss land
acquisition of property for an additional fire station on the northwest quadrant
of the City, and to discuss a personnel issue.
Motion carried unanimously 5-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
