CITY COUNCIL MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER
An adjourned meeting of the City Council was held on Monday, June 18, 1984 at
the Lions Park Community Center, 9161 Base Line Road. Mayor Mikels called the
City Council meeting to order at 7:12 p.m,
Present were: Council members Pamela J. Wright, Charles J. Buquet II, Richard
M. Dahl, Jeffrey King, and Mayor Jon D. Mikels.
Also present were: Lauren M. Wasserman, City Manager
The purpose of the meeting was to conduct public interviews for three Planning
Commission vacancies. One vacancy created by the resignation of Addie Juarez,
and the other two created by the end of Dennis Stout's and Larry McNiel's terms
of office.
Interviews were scheduled as follovs:
Group I - starting at 7:00 p.m.:
Group II - starting at 8:15 p.m.:
Lyndon Harp
Jefferson Hill
Raymond Mcllvain
John McCord
Paul Saldana
James Schneider
Robert Casaletti
Julio Castillo
Suzanne Chitiea
Ray Trujillo
Peter Pitassi
Charles Vath
Robert Dutton
Names were put in the order of the Randomized Alphabet drawn by the Secretary
of State for the Municipal Election. Also, Martin Prisco had applied, but was
unable to make the interviews. The two inctunbents were not interviewed, but
both Mr, Stout and Mr. McNiel had sent letters of intent to the City Council
indicating their interest in a reappointment for another term,
Councilman Buquet left at 9:20 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT
MOTION: Moved by Wright, seconded by King to adjourn. Motion carried
unanimously 4-0-1. The meeting adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
