The special adjourned joint meeting of the City Council and Planning Commission was held at the Community Services Building, 9161 Baseline Road, Rancho Cucamonga, on Thursday, May 24, 1979. The meeting was called to order at 7:17 p.m. by ~.~ayor James C. Frost and by Planning Commission Chairman Herman Rempel. ROLL CALL: Council members present: Jon Mikels, Michael Palombo, Mayor James Frost. Planning Commissioners present: Richard Dahl, Laura Jones, Peter Tolstoy, Jorge Garcia, and Chairman Herman Rempel. Mayor Frost indicated the purpose of the City Council/Planning Commission (1) joint meeting was to hear a presentation from the Planning Center, a consulting firm which is preparing a specific plan for approximately 1200 acres of land located in the general vacinity of Haven and Foothill. The project is known as Terra Vista. Following the presentation, the City Council and Planning Commission meeting was adjourned. MOTION: Moved by Palombo, seconded by Mikels to adjourn.
