CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
Adjourned Meeting
CALL TO ORDER An adjourned meeting of the City Council met on June 29,
1978 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Service Building at
9161 Baseline Road. The meeting was called to order by
Mayor James C. Frost.
ROLL CALL Present: Council members Jon Mikels, Phillip Schlosser,
Michael Palombo, Mayor pro-tem Charles West, and Mayor
James C. Frost.
City Manager, Lauren M. Wasserman; City Attorney, Robert
Dougherty; and staff members Jack Lam, Harry Empey,
Willian Holley, James Robinson, and Lloyd Hubbs.
AGREemENT An agreement between Secondo Colombero and the City of
with Colombero Rancho Cucamonga was presented to the Council for approval.
It provided for improvements to be completed on their
property on Etiwanda Avenue at a time in the future when
Etiwanda Avenue would be improved with curb and gutters.
Motion: Moved by Schlosser, seconded by West to approve
the Agreement. Motion unanimously carried.
1978-79 Mr. Wasserman presented the 1978-79 Budget. Discussion
PROGRAM OF followed.
SERVICE
Motion: Moved by Palombo, seconded by West to approve
and adopt the 1978-79 Budget for Rancho Cucamonga. Motion
unanimously carried.
EXECUTIVE At 9:30 p.m. the council adjourned to a special Executive
SESSION Session.
The meeting reconvened at 10:15 p.m. with all members
of the Council present.
RESOLUTION Mr. Wasserman presented Resolution No. 78-37 and read
NO. 78-37 title.
RESOLUTION NO. 78-37
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING
SALARY RANGES AND POSITION CLASSIFICATIONS
FOR MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL AND ALL EMPLOYEES OF
THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1977-78.
Motion: Moved by West, seconded by Palombo to approve and
adopt Resolution No. 78-38. Motion unanimously carried.
ADJOURNMENT Motion: Moved by West, seconded by Schlosser to adjourn
the meeting. Motion unanimously carried. Meeting adjourned
at 11:17 p.m. to regular meeting on July 5, 1978.
