TO ORDER A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District met on Wednesday, July 18, 1990, in the Council Chambers located at the Civic Center, 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. The meeting was called to order at 7:26 p.m. by President Dennis L. Stout. Present were Boardmembers: William J. Alexander, Deborah N. Brown, Charles J. Buquet II, and President Dennis L. Stout. Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; James Markman, City Attorney; Linda D. Daniels, Deputy City Manager; Jerry B. Fulwood, Deputy City Manager; Rick Gomez, Community Development Director; Olen Jones, Sr. RDA Analyst; Brad Buller, City Planner; Larry Henderson, Principal Planner; Miki Bratt, Associate Planner; Anna Lisa Hernandez, Assistant Planner; Shintu Bose, Deputy City Engineer; Paul Rougeau, Traffic Engineer; Joe Stofa, Associate Engineer; Mike Long, Supervisor of Public Works Inspectors; Jerry Grant, Building Official; Marti Higgins, Disaster Preparedness Manager; Jana Ellis, Disaster Preparedness Specialist; Ingrid Blair, GIS Supervisor; Joe Schultz, Community Services Manager; Jim Hart, Administrative Services Director; Susan Neely, Finance Officer; Duane Baker, Assistant to the City Manager; Diane O'Neal, Management Analyst II; Susan Mickey, Management Analyst I; Chief Dennis Michael, Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District; Lt. Bob Peppler, Rancho Cucamonga Police Department; and Debra J. Adams, Secretary. Absent was Boardmember: Pamela J. Wright. B. ANNOUNCEMENTS/PRESENTATIONS No announcements or presentations were made. CONSENT CALENDAR Approval of Minutes: June 6, 1990 June 20, 1990 Approval to receive and file current Investment Schedule as of June 30, Approval of General Fund (Account No. 933-010) Monthly Expenditure Report for the period ending May 1990, in the amount of $491,620.38. D4. Approval of Mello-Roos Community Facilities District No. 85-1, (Account No. 833) Monthly Expenditure Report for the period ending May 1990, in the amount of $81,978.66. D5. Approval of General Fund (Account No. 933-040) Monthly Expenditure Report for the period ending May 1990, in the amount of $7,656.00. MOTION: Moved by Alexander, seconded by Buquet to approve the Consent Calendar. Motion carried unanimously, 4-0-1 (Wright absent). E. CONSENT ORDINANCES El. CONSIDERATION FOR APPROVAL OF SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF A SPECIAL TAX IN MELLO-ROOS COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990-91 FOR PURPOSES OF FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES Debra J. Adams, Secretary, read the title of Ordinance No. 19. ORDINANCE NO. 19 (second reading) AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF A SPECIAL TAX IN MELLO-ROOS COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990-1991 MOTION: Moved by Brown, seconded by Alexander to approve Ordinance No. 19. Motion carried unanimously, 4-0-1 (Wright absent). F.
