CALL TO ORDER A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District was held on Wednesday, October 16, 1991, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. The meeting was called to order at 7:11 p.m. by President Dennis L. Stout. Present were Boardmembers: William J. Alexander, Charles J. Buquet II, Diane Williams, Pamela J. Wright, and President Dennis L. Stout. Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; James Markman, City Attorney; Linda D. Daniels, Deputy City Manager; Jerry B. Fulwood, Deputy City Manager; Rick Gomez, Community Development Director; Tarry Smith, Park Planning/Development Superintendent; Brad Buller, City Planner; Otto Kroutil, Deputy City Planner; Bruce Buckingham, Planning Technician; Joe O'Neil, City Engineer; Dan James, Sr. Civil Engineer; Joe Schultz, Community Services Director; Paula Pachon, Management Analyst II; Jim Hart, Administrative Services Director; Duane Baker, Assistant to the City Manager; Chief Dennis Michael, Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District; Capt. Bruce Zeiner, Rancho Cucamonga Police Department; and Debra J. Adams, Secretary. B. ANNOUNCEMENTS/PRESENTATIONS No announcements or presentations were made. C. COMM1/NICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC No communication was made from the public. D. CONSENT CALENDAR D1. Approval of Minutes: August 7, 1991 August 21, 1991 Fire Protection District Minutes October 16, 1991 Page 2 D2. Approval to receive and file current Investment Schedule as of August 31, 1991 and September 30, 1991. D3. Approval of General Fund O1 Monthly Expenditure Report for the period ending July 1991, in the amount of $335,252.92. D4. Approval of Mello-Roos Community Facilities District No. 85-1, Fund 02 Monthly Expenditure Report for the period ending July 1991, in the amount of $75,351.18. D5. Approval of General Fund 01 Monthly Expenditure Report for the period ending August 1991, in the amount of $519,443.79. D6. Approval of Mello-Roos Community Facilities District No. 85-1, Fund 02 Monthly Expenditure Report for the period ending August 1991, in the amount of $110,392.01. D7. Approval to Modify the Public Employees' Retirement System Contract (CO FD 90-006) by Adding Section 21382.4 Third Level of 1959 Survivors Benefits for Local Miscellaneous and Local Safety Members. RESOLUTION NO. FD 91-020 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, OF ITS INTENTION TO APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT D8. Approval of a Public Safety Commission Recommendation to install Fire Station Directional and Caution Signage in the vicinity of Fire Station locations, and authorization to expend a dollar amount not to exceed $2,000.00 for acquisition and installation, to be funded from Account No. 7043. MOTION: Moved by Williams, seconded by Alexander to approve the Consent Calendar. Motion carried unanimously, 5-0. E.
