FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT MINUTES

A. CAT.T. TO ORDER
A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District was held on
Wednesday, April 3, 1991, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, located
at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. The meeting was
called to order at 7:15 p.m. by President Dennis L. Stout.
Present were Boardmembers: William J. Alexander, Charles J. Buquet II, Diane
Williams, Pamela J. Wright, and President Dennis L. Stout.
Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; James Markman, City Attorney; Linda
D. Daniels, Deputy City Manager; Jerry B. Fulwood, Deputy City Manager; Rick
Gomez, Community Development Director; Olen Jones, Sr. RDA Analyst; Jan Reynolds,
Assistant RDA Analyst; Brad Buller, City Planner; Larry Henderson, Principal
Planner; Joe O'Neil, City Engineer; Paul Rougeau, Traffic Engineer; Jerry Grant,
Building Official; Jim Martin, Plan Check Coordinator; Joe Schultz, Community
Services Director; Tarry Smith, Park Planning/Development Superintendent; Jim
Hart, Administrative Services Director; Susan Neely, Finance Officer; Ingrid
Blair, GIS Supervisor; Duane Baker, Assistant to the City Manager; Diane O'Neal,
Management Analyst II; Susan Mickey, Management Analyst I; Chief Dennis Michael,
Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District; Capt. Bruce Zeiner, Lt. Bob Peppler,
and Lt. Mike Ingram, Rancho Cucamonga Police Department; and Debra J. Adams,

MOTION: Moved by Williams, seconded by Alexander to approve the Consent
Calendar. Motion carried unanimously, 5-0.

E. ADVERTISED PUBLIC HEARINGS
El. CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION ANNEXING APPROXIMATELY FIFTEEN {15) ACRES OF
TERRITORY TO THE EXISTING MELLO-ROOS COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 88-1 AND
AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF SPECIAL TAX LEVYTO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS Staff report
presented by Chief Dennis Michael, Fire District.
President Stout asked that the letter received from Citation Homes be made a part
of the record.
President Stout opened the meeting for public hearing. There being no response,
the public hearing was closed.
RESOLUTION NO. FD 91-006
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA
FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO ANEXISTING COMMUNITY
FACILITIES DISTRICT AND AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF LEVY OF
SPECIAL TAXES TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS
MOTION: Moved by Buquet, seconded by Alexander to approve Resolution No. FD 91-
006. Motion carried unanimously, 5-0.

SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS IN AN ANNEXED AREA OF A
COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT A PROPOSITION TO LEVY A SPECIAL
TAX AND ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES AND CONDITIONS FOR CONDUCTING
AN ELECTION
MOTION: Moved by Buquet, seconded by Alexander to approve Resolution No. FD 91-
007. Motion carried unanimously, 5-0.

G. ADJOURNMENT
President St~ut announced the Fire Board would recess to Executive Session
regarding personnel matters, to be held at the conclusion of the City Council
meeting, with the Board not to reconvene after Executive Session. The Fire Board
recessed at 7:21 p.m. The City Council meeting concluded at 9:14 p.m.
