Regular Meeting
A. CA!l, TO ORDER
A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District was held on Wednesday, November 18, 1992,
in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California.
The meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m. by President Dennis L. Stout.
Present were Boardmembers: William J. Alexander, Charles J. Buquet II, Diane Williams, Pamela J. Wright, and
President Dennis L. Stout.
Also present were: Jack Lain, City Manager; James Markman, City Attorney; Linda D. Daniels, Deputy City
Manager;, Rick Gomez, Community Development Director; Olen Jones, St. RDA Analyst; Brad Buller, City
Planner; Scott Murphy, Associate Planner; Joe O'Neil, City Engineer; Mike Olivier, Sr. Civil Engineer; Robert
Dominguez, Administrative Services Director; Duane Baker, Assistant to the City Manager, Diane O'Neal,
Management Analyst II; Susan Mickey, Management Analyst I; Capt. Bruce Zeiner, Rancho Cucamonga Police
Department; and Debra J. Adams, Secretary.

D1. Approval of General Fund 01 Monthly Expenditure Report for October 1992, in the amount of
$560,678.24.
D2. Approval of Communities Facilities District 85-1 Fund 02 Monthly Expenditure Report for October 1992,
in the amount of $203,595.91.
D3. Approval to receive and file current Investment Schedule as of October 31, 1992.

D4. Approval to execute an amendment to existing lease agreement (CO FD92-004) between the Rancho
Cucamonga Fire Protection District and the San Bemardino County Flood Control District for the existing Base
Line Fire Station No. 173 site.
D5. Approval of a Resolution designating a Fire District Representative and Alternate to the Fire Agencies
Insurance Risk Authority (FAIRA) Board of Directors, a Joint Powers Authority providing self-insurance for
vehicles, property and general liability insurance.

CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING ITS REPRESENTATIVE(S) TO THE GOVERNING
BOARD OF THE FIRE AGENCIES INSURANCE RISK AUTHORITY
D6. Approval to a Resolution designating a Fire District representative and alternate to the Public Agency Self-
Insurance System (PASIS) Board of Directors, a Joint Powers Authority providing Workers' Compensation self-
insurance coverage.

CALIFORNIA, MAKING AN APPOINTMENT OF IS REPRESENTATIVE(S) TO
THE PUBLIC AGENCY SELF-INSURANCE SYSTEM BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MOTION: Moved by Alexander, seconded by Wright to approve all staff recommendations contained in the staff
reports of the Consent Calendar. Motion carried unanimously, 5-0.
E. IDENTIFICATION OF ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING
No items were identified for the next meeting.
F. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION: Moved by Alexander, seconded by Wright to recess until the conclusion of the City Council meeting
(10:41 p.m.) for an Executive Session to discuss personnel matters, not to reconvene. Motion carried unanimously,
5-0. The Board recessed at 7:09 p.m.
