A, CAI.I, TO ORDER
A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District was held on Wednesday, June 17, 1992, in the
Council Chambers of the Civic Center, located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. The
meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by President Dennis L. StouL
Present were Boardmembers: William J. Alexander, Charles J. Buquet H, Pamela J. Wright, and President Dennis L.
Stout.
Also present were: Jack Lain, City Manager, James Markman, City Attorney; Jerry B. Fulwood, Deputy City"
Manager; Rick Gomez, Community Development Director, Olen Jones, Sr. RDA Analyst; Otto Kroutil, Deputy
City Planner, Dan Coleman, Principal Planner, Larry Henderson, Principal Planner, Joe O'Neil, City Engineer;,

CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF A SPECIAL TAX IN MELLO-ROOS
COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992/93
MOTION: Moved by Alexander, seconded by Buquet to waive full reading and approve Ordinance No. FD 21.

PROPOSAl ,~ TO REDUCE MUNICIPAl. FUNDING Staff report presented by Jack Lain, City Manager.
President Stout stated he, Boardmeml~r Williams and Jack Lain went to Sacramento earlier today to meet with
Assemblyman Brulte, and Senators Leonard and Ayala to explain the City's concern for the proposed revenue cuts by
the state and the affects it wold have on Rancho Cucamong~. He agreed that this Resolution was very important

CALIFORNIA, CALLING ON THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA TO REJECT PROPOSALS TO REDUCE LEVELS OF FUNDING
FOR MUNICIPALITIES BELOW CURRENT LEVELS
MOTION: Moved by Buquet, seconded by Alexander to approve Resolution No. FD 92-017. Motion camed
unanimously, 4-0-1 (Willjams absent).
