CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT MINUTES
Regular Meeling
A. CALL TO ORDER
A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District was held on Wednesday, September 7, 1994,
in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California.
The meeting was called to order at 7:11 p.m. by President Dennis L. Stout.
Present were Boardmembers: William J. Alexander, Charles J. Buquet ii, Rex Gutierrez, Diane Williams, and
President Dennis L. Stout.
Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; James Markman, City Attorney; Jerry B. Fulwood, Deputy City
Manager; Linda D. Daniels, RDA Manager; Olen Jones, Sr. RDA Analyst; Brad Bullet, City Planner; Dan
Coleman, Principal Planner; Beverly Luttrell, Associate Planner; Joe O'Neil, City Engineer; Dan James, Sr. Civil
Engineer; Maria Perez, Assistant Engineer; Bill Makshanoff, Building Official; Bob Dominguez, Administrative
Services Director; Deborah Clark, Library Manager; Duane Baker, Assistant to the City Manager; Diane O'Neal,
Management Analyst II; Susan Mickey, Management Analyst I; Chief Dennis Michael, Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District; Capt. Bruce Zeiner, Rancho Cucamonga Police Department; and Debra J. Adams, Secretary.

No announcements or presentations were made.
C. COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
No communications were made from the public.
D. CONSENT CALENDAR
DI. Approval of Minutes: July 20, 1994 (Buquet absent)
D2. Approval to execute amendment to Memorandum of Understanding (CO FD92-006) with Fire District
Management Personnel.

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO
CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, RANCHO CUCAMONGA,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING REVISIONS TO MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA AND THE
RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL CONCERNING
WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
MOTION: Moved by Gutierrez, seconded by Alexander to approve the staff recommendations in the staff reports
contained in the Consent Calendar with the exception of Buquet abstaining from the minutes of July 20. Motion
carried unanimously, 5-0.
E. IDENTIFICATION OF ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING
No items were identified for the next meeting.
F. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION: Moved by Alexander, seconded by Gutierrez to recess until the conclusion of the City Council meeting
(9:33 p.m.) for an Executive Session to occur to discuss Labor Negotiations per Government Code Section 54957.6
to give Robert Dominguez, Administrative Services Director, direction in regards to the meet and confer process.
Motion carried unanimously, 5-0. The Fire Board recessed at 7:14 p.m. No action was taken in Executive Session.
